Ride-sharing Services Reduce DUI Arrests
A recent study conducted by the University of California-Davis is attributing a decline in DUI-related arrests to ride-sharing services. Nonetheless, DUI-related fatalities continue to rise – with 1,059 deaths reported in 2015 alone.
Major cities reporting reduction in arrests include:

- Las Vegas -37%
- Seattle -28%
- Denver -17%
- San Jose -28%
- Sacramento -26%
- Los Angeles -14%
- Philadelphia -17%
- San Francisco -14%
