Monitoring Vehicle Emission Policies
Enterprise Fleet Management is continuing to monitor updates hitting the automotive industry regulations with the incoming administration.
In December, the Supreme Court agreed to hear an appeal from fuel producers challenging a waiver granted to California by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 2022. This waiver allows California to set stricter vehicle emissions standards than the federal government. The case could change federal regulations in the future.
It's anticipated that the case would be heard in the spring of 2025.
