New Initiative Plans to Replace Government Fleet with Electric Vehicles
In January, the “Buy American” executive order was signed, which includes plans to replace the federal government’s fleet of vehicles with electric vehicles (EV), manufactured in the United States. To support the federal government’s large-scale fleet, this promises to build 550,000 more charging stations across the US.
This increased EV infrastructure could lead to more private and municipal fleets shifting toward electrification.
