New Camera, Sharper than Human Eye, To Enter Car Market

A new camera with integrated artificial intelligence has been developed by German supplier, Robert Bosch, to bring a new level of advancement to driver-assistance systems in vehicles. Ultimately, this technology will help further the race to develop self-driving cars.

The camera is expected to debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

By using artificial intelligence, the camera can detect and better weigh objects’ relevance. Lensing of the camera is said to be better than the human eye. The goal is that the camera will work to reduce human error as part of the assessment process.
