Airbag Maker Issues New Recall
Dec 2019: Embattled airbag maker, Takata, issues a recall of 1.4 million North American vehicles after an issue was discovered with an airbag. Manufacturers subject to the recall are as follows:
- BMW
- Volkswagen
- Audi
- Honda
- Toyota
- Mitsubishi
The Takata airbag issue is the largest single recall in automobile history, affecting over 41 million vehicles. Motorists are encouraged to quickly verify if their vehicle is included in the recall and to have them serviced.
