THE CHALLENGE

1-800-HANSONS, LLC was seeing its fleet costs rise due to its older fleet requiring more maintenance and being less fuel efficient. Additionally, vehicles purchased on an as-needed basis were being kept beyond their effective lifespans.

THE SOLUTION

After partnering with Enterprise Fleet Management (EFM), 1-800-HANSONS implemented a replacement cycle to proactively replace vehicles and have EFM manage their aftermarket installation process. Outsourcing administrative tasks to EFM enabled 1-800-HANSONS to track, monitor, and lower their operational expenses while being able to focus on the objectives that drive their business forward.

THE RESULTS

Thanks to the strategic fleet management plan developed in collaboration with EFM, 1-800-HANSONS has lowered its average fleet age from 8 years to 5 years, saved an average of $5,500 per new vehicle acquired, and reduced its maintenance spend by 10% from 2021 to 2022.
