Demand for Technicians has Increased over last 12-Months

The ongoing technician shortage will continue to contribute to repair downtime and higher shop labor costs – Enterprise Fleet Management has an entire team of technicians to help support your business.

The TechForce Foundation released the 2021 edition of its Transportation Technician Supply & Demand Report, and it details the disparity. Demand went from 136,503 in 2020 to 258,000 in 2021. Last year, there were only 48,000 post-secondary program completions — a far cry from the 797,530 technicians needed between 2021 and 2025. The ongoing technician shortage will continue to contribute to repair downtime and higher shop labor costs.
