VEHICLE DELIVERY

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOUR NEW LEASED VEHICLE IS READY FOR DELIVERY

Once a vehicle has been delivered, the New Vehicle Acquisition team will contact the dealer and arrange for Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and logistics for aftermarket equipment upfit if needed. A vehicle is deemed ready once it has gone through the dealer’s PDI, aftermarket equipment is installed (if applicable), and initial registration is either completed with hard plates or in process with temp tags.

Once a vehicle is ready, your delivery contact is notified via email and phone call by the EFM Vehicle Acquisition Coordinator (VAC). Your driver is then provided with options to set a dealer appointment for pick-up, or the VAC will work with them to schedule delivery to their address.

The initial email to your delivery contact will mention the need for insurance coverage as well as direct them to their Account Fleet Coordinator for questions regarding Geotab Telematics, WEX Fuel Management, Maintenance, or Risk Management. The VAC will also discuss options for Lease Turn-In units when applicable.

The vehicle should be clean inside and out with a minimum of a ¼ tank of fuel when your delivery contact receives their new vehicle. Your driver will also be instructed to inspect the vehicle for damage, tags, and completed aftermarket equipment before they take possession.
